Event details
For the last three years we have run a very successful 9.5km fundraiser swim from Union Bridge to Berwick and this year our event has sold out already.
We have also been asked by so many people if we could run a shorter swim so that people who are not ready to swim the 9.5km could still get an option to swim under the beautiful Berwick Bridges.
We are delighted to say that we have teamed up again with Galashiels Rotary Club and Borders Water Rescue Team to offer a fantastic opportunity to swim 4km of the Tweed from the A1 Bridge to Berwick RNLI station swimming under the 3 iconic bridges on the way.
Over the past 3 years we have raised funds for the Borders Water Rescue Team who have purchased a Mega raft, another support raft, dry suits and part funded a drone with the funds raised. All essential kit to help save lives or help with search and recovery in and around the Borders.
We aim to continue our fund raising campaign with this swim too so all swimmers are asked to raise a minimum of £100 prior to the swim taking place.
Distance is @4km but tide and river assisted.
Date – Sunday 19th July 2026
Time – Meeting at 7.30am at Berwick RNLI station – 8.30am start for first wave.
