One day. Multiple swims. New waters to explore, and the delights of the pirate red sandstone cliffs around Arbroath

We’re heading out early from Galashiels for a full-day wild swim and we will be meeting up with Cameron from Arbroath Cliff Tours to go swim through the Mermaids Tail a beautiful sea tunnel which opens up into the sea, exploring new water, new scenery and making the most of every hour.

This is about packing real adventure into a single day.

What to Expect

• 🚐 Early morning departure from Galashiels

• 🌊 2 swim stops in carefully selected locations

• 🌊 And then we get to swim into a beautiful sea tunnel with ACT.

• 📸 Loo & leg-stretch stops as well as photo opportunities along the route

• 🥪 Lunch stop (bring your own or buy locally)

• 🌄 Evening return to Galashiels

You don’t need to organise routes, parking or timings.
You just bring your kit and your sense of adventure.

The Plan

We’ll break the journey up with short stops to stretch the legs and take in the scenery before reaching our swim locations. Each swim will be optional, you choose what feels right for you on the day.

It’s a chance to expand beyond your usual dip and explore somewhere new, all within the safety of a group.

There is a short walk along the cliff top to get to our swim spot.
